Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Prayers needed for a family that lost a daughter/sister/mother last evening. Her husband shot her and killed her, shot his 5 year old daughter who is expected to survive. He then shot himself. The family is devastated of course! My sister in-law’s father, Ed Little, is having open heart surgery tomorrow morning at 7:30am to replace 2 valves and stop bleeding in his heart. His lungs have continued to fill up with fluid over the last week and has had to have two blood transfusions. So we are asking for prayer for him to have a successful surgery, to give the doctors the wisdom in correcting these issues and for a successful recovery as well. My niece Colleen's, the woman whos foot has been amputated, entire extended family is recovering from the swine flu. (That would be 13 people.) Colleen's mother Kathy has just come home from the hospital battling double pneumonia and a UTI. She has finished the first round of antibiotics and the UTI is not gone. Colleen's husband Jim, a stage four diabetic, has lost mental abilities. The two sides of his brain are no communicating. It is thought he has sepsis and is headed for dialysis. Colleens niece/daughter has shown signs of cancer in her blood and the preliminary diagnosis is cervical cancer, pending further testing. Colleens grand daughter, the child whos skull was resized has been diagnosed with leukemia. One of the small children has RSV, a highly contagious, extremely virulent infection of the respiratory system, which often kills people with compromised immune systems, which the entire family has right now. All of this has occurred in less than a week. For any of you who have followed my posts, this family can not get a break. Their mental attitudes are failing, because they do not go a week without some new health issue. My girlfriend Marsha's daughter Lynde Bires is suffering from cancer and is undergoing chemo therapy every three weeks. If on December 28, 2022 there is not a marked improvement in the tumors, she will have to go on a more intense chemo therapy. She will have to wear a chemo pack on her side for 96 hours. She has already lost her hair and has a continuous cough. This new therapy can cause sores in her mouth and on her hands and feet. Please pray the results of the scan on the 28th are good enough to avoid the more radical chemo. Can you please send prayers for my sister Robin Bertetto. She has degenerative disc disease. She had her lower spine fused 15 years ago and she is afraid to have another surgery. She lives in pain a lot. Please. I am asking for continued prayer for my husband, John He is in Concordia for therapy following his stay at Allegheny General and Allegedly Valley following a stroke on October 13. He is progressing ever so slowly and still is unable to walk and use his right side. He is working very hard but is becoming very distressed over his slow progress. Please pray for his strength to continue this process Please pray for my friend who underwent a partial mastectomy today. Please pray for her nausea, for the pain medication to be regulated, and for her lymph nodes to come back clear. Thank you! Shaun(son) woke up with dizzy spells in er in butler for evaluation Asking prayer for my niece. She is having trouble gaining weight. Doctor is concerned. Put on special formula that she does not like. She was born 10/17. Please keep family frien who is nearing the end of a cancer diagnosis. She just had her 1st grandchild from her only child. Very sad. My niece Colleen's mother Kathy is in the hospital with a UTI and double pneumonia. Her husband Jim, a severe diabetic, can barely speak and cannot walk. Her neice/ adopted daughter has tentatively been diagnosed with cervical cancer pending further testing and her granddaughters' blood work indicates she has leukemia, again there is pending further blood work. As I have stated in the past these are not this families only problems, just the most recent.Anonymous
