Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! Just received word from my niece that my sister Gan was in an auto accident and rushed to Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. They are taking her into surgery as I type this. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and for her daughter and grandchildren as I'm not totally sure where they stand with the Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness. Our pryers for Doug Talmadge are ongoing. He came through the aortic valve surgery well. His successful recovery is what we need to pray for now. Thank you everyone for your prayers and continue praying for his and his wife's salvation. My attempts do not seem to have registered, but God alone knows their hearts. Update on Josh. Josh is home. The electrophysiology Dr has him coming in next month to be fitted for a defibrillator that will be eventually surgically installed. In the mean time he has to wear the life vest and be monitored 24/7. He is also on a myriad of new meds that has definitely impacted him and the reality of it all. Doesn’t look like he’ll be back to work any time soon. He does have some current restrictions. Thanks for continued prayers for him. Ed's cousin (Barb Talmadge, Apollo, PA)....her husband is having a serious Heart Operation on Monday (March 7th). He has had to have iron infusions for a couple weeks to try and build him up for this surgery. It's touch and go. He is having his Aortic Valve replaced first thing Monday morning. Neither of them are saved. I have witnessed to Barb many times and, now, through this challenge with her husband and his need for the Lord. Pray for his and her salvation also. My wife's friend Michelle has recovered from pneumonia and has finished her first round of Chemo and radiation. She sees the oncologists next week to discuss how the treatments are working and ongoing treatment.
Please pray we get good news. Please pray for my good friend's dad, Phil, who has cancer and will be undergoing a lot of radiation treatments. Please pray these are effective! And pray for his sweet wife also. Thank you! Please pray for Josh Brinker. On Monday, he passed out at work while working around some furnaces. They took him to the emergency room and after some testing realize that he was having a heart attack. They ended up admitting him and did a heart Cath on him the next day. He had some mild blockages which they did not do anything with but the other concern was what they're calling a thickening of the heart. On Thursday, they presented him with some options such as having a defibrillator possibly installed on him for the rest of his life. Apparently the thickening of the heart can cause the heart to not pump correctly and go out of rhythm or just stop from what I understand. They discharged him on Friday with a lifevest that will monitor his heart but also give his heart a jolt if it does anything it's not supposed to do. He sees the cardiologist and another electrical heart doctor later this week to see how to move forward plus they have him on a barrage of new meds to compensate for the mild blockages. I guess protocol for blockages is 70% before they place a stent or balloon and one blockage was 60% and the other two were maybe 50%. Please keep him in your prayers and pray for Lisa, it is been trying on her being that she is in Texas with Becca right now. I got my biopsy results back no Cancer but i am still having an Ultrasound done on March 10th at 2:30 pm pray everything is good Please pray for my important family court appointment on March 1.Sue Peterson
