Praise and thank you for your prayers! Dave's surgery went well and they were able to save his knee which will make it easier for him to have a prosthetic when the time is right. We still have a long way to go and appreciate continued prayers for Dave's healing and adjustment to this change in his life and strength for me to be able to help him when he comes home. Dear Church friends,
Dave will be having his second amputation at approximately noon today. He will have the same surgeon who did the first surgery. We are praying this is his last surgery and that he will ve able to keep his knee. Thank you for your faithful prayers. Dear Church friends,

My dad, Kevin Tirk, who many of you have been praying for is making a lot of progress. He has been fighting stage 4 esophageal cancer since August 2021. He finished chemotherapy two weeks ago, and he had a PET scan this week. The results show that all the signs of cancer in his upper and lower abdomen are gone! There is only one spot around the esophagus remaining. These results make him a candidate for surgery again. This operation will be taking place within the next six weeks. It is a very invasive surgery; 8 hours, one week in the hospital and a 6 week recovery. So please continue to pray for him, this is truly an answer to prayer. Please pray for my co-worker, Dave. He is in the hospital with what appears to be a very serious condition. Thank you My sister passed away a short time ago. Please continue to pray for her daughter Andrea and grandchildren, as well as me and my siblings, as we seek comfort from the Lord. Thank you Just received word from my niece that my sister Gan was in an auto accident and rushed to Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. They are taking her into surgery as I type this. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for the doctors and for her daughter and grandchildren as I'm not totally sure where they stand with the Lord. Thank you for your faithfulness. Our pryers for Doug Talmadge are ongoing. He came through the aortic valve surgery well. His successful recovery is what we need to pray for now. Thank you everyone for your prayers and continue praying for his and his wife's salvation. My attempts do not seem to have registered, but God alone knows their hearts. Update on Josh. Josh is home. The electrophysiology Dr has him coming in next month to be fitted for a defibrillator that will be eventually surgically installed. In the mean time he has to wear the life vest and be monitored 24/7. He is also on a myriad of new meds that has definitely impacted him and the reality of it all. Doesn’t look like he’ll be back to work any time soon. He does have some current restrictions. Thanks for continued prayers for him. Mary Venter
