My surgery went well and I want to give God the glory and praise. Thanks to all who prayed. Dear Church Family,
Oftentimes, we ask for prayer, but don't always give the results. I have had computer issues, or I would have given an update sooner. God was merciful to have Dave's surgery take less time than the Surgeon expected and he said the surgery went great! Also, Dave was released on the third day, again earlier than was expected. Overall, he is doing well with some swelling and bruising in the leg where the cadaver vein was inserted. Please pray with us that this surgery will give him the necessary blood supply to the wound that it will heal properly. Thank you for your love and support...and especially your prayers. Please continue to pray for young Dominic Moret and his family. At a meeting last night, the oncologist did not have any good news. Mom and Dad have been searching for a clinical trial that they might try, but have come up empty-handed so far. They were hopeful that a treatment team in Boston might see him, but they will not even consider his case without evaluating him in person, and he is too ill to travel. I am praying that God would work a miracle, both spiritually within the whole family, and physically in Dom. Pray for the surgeon on 6-14-2021 to have the ability and wisdom to complete the fusion of my left ankle and heel to position my foot in the correct angle allowing me to walk without pain and damage to additional joints. Pam has pain all over her body.
She has fallen down a few times lately and was taken to the ER via ambulance on 6/2 when she wasn't able to get up out of bed.
John took her over to Concordia in Sarver on 6/3 for 2 weeks of care and then a re-evaluation. Feel free to contact Troy for additional information. Thanks for praying for us always. Josh is in the hospital for a Parkinsons issue and getting care. my father inlaw , chuck Montabon is having surgery today in pittsburgh. please simply pray there are no complications. thank you church family Dave and I want to thank our Harvest family for your faithfulness to pray for Dave. The angiogram showed a total blockage. A visit to the wound Dr. today showed that the wound is growing in size because of a lack of blood flow to the wound. He is scheduled for a vascular bypass next Wednesday, June 9 at Forbes. He will be there any where from 3-6 days. Thank you again for your prayers. UPDATE: The hearing went as expected and the judge ruled that physical abuse took place and not self injury. The 'victory' seems hollow as not a good situation for anyone involved. Next step is to gain agreement with birth father to allow our niece to attend HBA Kindergarten. Please continue to pray for her father and step-mother that salvation will come to their home. Prayers for our niece to be emotionally healed and for us to give her a stable loving and safe home while the process continues. Thank you for your prayers and support on this journey. Shawn Burtner
