His wife is pregnant and currently has an infection. They lost a baby in recent past. I told him I would ask to be prayed for I am having lymph node biopsy surgery tomorrow morning, January 26. I would appreciate prayers on my behalf. Thank you. Jonathan Williams has been diagnosed with brain cancer, glioblastoma, which is the most aggressive kind. God goes where we cannot go. Jim Beatty has been in the ER 4 times in 10 days. Why they keep sending him home I cannot fathom. He has been complaining of pain under his left arm radiating down his arm. The family has been afraid he was
having a heart attack, but all his vitals indicate otherwise. Yesterday some type of enhanced xray revealed a mass behind his left lung, which doctors thought looked like a hematoma or pocket of infection. Later in the day a bruise developed under his arm in the area of the pain. By this morning the bruise is covering a goodly portion of his side. Since he has not had any blunt force trauma to this area and he is on blood thinner, he must be bleeding internally. Doctors are at a loss as to what to do. They need to operate to stop the bleeding, but if he is already bleeding uncontrollably from thinners an operation more than likely would cause him to bleed out. As it stands they are modifying his meds to stop the bleeding and/or allow them to operate to correct the bleeding. Playing with his meds is very dangerous, taking away the thinners and adding Vitamin K may get us back to him throwing clots. Please pray for guidance for the doctors and give Colleen (Jims wife, my niece) the strength to endure. She has not seen him in at least two weeks due to him having Covid and her physical impairments. Update on Mitch Hall; yesterday he was set to be discharged when they found a blood clot. He is having a heart cath today. Praising The Lord for answering all the prayers. Please pray that this is a minor setback, (it looked bleak while he was in ICU on a respirator), and he will be home and recovering soon. God is so good ! Please pray for my boyfriend Emorson’s salvation. I have seen so many amazing changes happen inside of him over the last few months and I know Jesus is really working on his heart.
He comes from a family that didn’t really direct him in what to believe. And being brought up in the public school system where evolution and many other man made believes are taught, didn’t do him any service.
He is open and searching. I believe in the power of pray. Please pray for him. This Thursday, January 21, I see the surgeon who will (hopefully) do my much desired surgery.
It is a drug pump surgery.
Will post a prayer request when I have a date for the surgery.
Thank you all for your prayers. I am scheduled to have a hysterectomy on January 25th. Please pray for successful surgery and quick recovery. Thank you. Ruth Ament is a sweet and dear friend. She and her husband Kurt are saved and go to Grace Baptist in Monroeville. She contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital on a ventilator. Through all of this they found she has numerous blood clots and today they were told she has now contracted a serious staph infection. The doctors are saying she is in very critical condition. Kurt and us thank you in advance for the prayers. I wanted to add an update on the recent death of my nephew:
Thank you all for your prayers. They are greatly appreciated during this painful time..
We had a small prayer service, only immediate family was permitted. I prayed for words and God reminded me of how Joey , ever since he was a toddler, would ask me to sing for him. Whether that was in my car going for ice cream, our yearly kids' Christmas party, or at his wedding. So, I sang at his service(the hardest thing I've ever done). I sang "I Have Not Seen yet I Believe". I told the family I have no doubt that Joey would want me to sing to them about Jesus since NOW he does see Him clearly.
As I began to sing, Joey's toddler, Bodhe, ran across the room and jumped into my arms. How wonderful... feeling I got to "hold" my nephew again.
I praise God for giving me peace at that moment and showing me our work with the family isn't done.
My other nephew, Mario, called me when he left and asked me to explain salvation to him.
I'm now praying for a huge revival in our family.
Glory be to God!!Chris
