On October 21st, I posted the following prayer request:
Please pray for my brother-in-law, Jeffrey Neubert who lives in Tennessee. Jeff suffered a hemorrghatic stroke and has been in the ICU ever since. The bleed is deep in his brain and surgery is not an option.
The situation worsened over the next several days. From a medical standpoint, the prognosis was grim. Then God, the Great Physician intervened. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds In Christ Jesus.” Jeff was moved to a step down unit, and from there to a rehab facility. Recently Jeff was able to go home and is being followed by in-home healthcare, and physical/occupational therapies! By all medical standards Jeff’s recovery has been nothing short of miraculous! Jeff is a testimony of God’s goodness, faithfulness, His love, mercy and the power of prayer. Thank you all for your continued prayers.

This is awful I was hoping for an angel in heaven. Instead Leo is never going to walk, talk, smile or eat on his own instead he is on a feeding tub and will need 24 hr. care for the rest of his life and be confined to a wheel chair. Again CYS has failed a child. thanks for all the prayers. UPDATE: Thank you for your continued prayers for our friends ~ it looks like things are heading in a positive direction! Yesterday evening Wyatt was moved to a neuro step down unit. They are currently waiting on the results of recent scans and an MRI. He is still in a lot of pain but it is being managed better, and he was able to do a little bit of PT today. Thank you again ~ prayer IS powerful! We want to thank all the families who donated clothes for Hesakaya i know this spelled wrong. He is the grandson that that Chris and Juanieta have custody of. He has a car seat, a potty to train him and an a high chair all from either vouchers or given to him. His dad got yo spend 2 and a half hours with him on Saturday and he assured Chris and Juanieta that he wasn't going to cause any problems because knows the child will be well taken of. As for Leo all the lies are going to have to be sorted out first before I have any updates on him. But thanks again for the clothes. Marino Quercio family (daughter in laws dad)
He passed away Thursday I have a friend John Pujol who has been battling neck and head cancer for the past four years. He is currently undergoing radiation treatments several times a week. UPDATE FROM VERY EARLY THIS MORNING: They've discovered a blood clot near the fracture at the base of Wyatt's skull; though he is rarely "awake" he seems more aware of the pain; he has no interest in eating. The hospital did permit his dad in for a visit but his mother his the ONE visitor allowed daily due to COVID 🙁 He recognized his dad, but is generally still confused. Thank you for your prayers for our friends. Thanks for all the prayer. /for some reason Juanieta doesn't have much access to info any more because they won't get custody of Leo until he is released from the hospital. Samantha is allowed to visit Leo but Chris and Juanieta aren't. Someone from Heritage donated a big bag of 3T clothes for the older child. He still needs shoes and socks,.plus the other items listed in an earlier email. Once he out grows the crib he will have a bed. We think Leo was taken of off life support but this can't be confirmed because Samanatha really tells the truth. So please keep praying and we hope something good comes out of this. marie black Praise God!
My husband cancer did not spread. He will be able to get the less invasive treatment.
Please pray that Ed will tolerate the treatments well.
Thank you for all your prayers. The oldest son of a Saxonburg family fell down a hole on a construction site yesterfay (the 10th ) ~ fractured skull in two places, brain bleed, two chipped vertebrae, kidney laceration . . . . and more. He is 19 years old. Please pray for his healing and strength for his family. They are dairy farmers and already struggling through this year. Thank you. Linda Rukavina
