I have had two unsuccessful surgeries to remove a kidney stone in April and May. I have two more surgeries scheduled at Allegheny General Hospital, the first on Wednesday, June 24 and the second on Tuesday, June 30. Because the surgery is more invasive, I'm praying there will be no damage and also that I will be able to function better than after the last two surgeries. Thank you for your prayers. Dear family friend, Charles Clark, is being placed in hospice. Pray for the Clark and Parks families This a new prayer request for my father, Dominic Perrotte. His surgery is canceled due to the scan showing his melanoma cancer spread to multiple areas. He has an appointment with an oncologist june 18th and they are trying to approve the PET scan now. He will need to decide what treatments. Our prayers are obviously that the treatments shrinking all cancer away. But more importantly, our prayer is for his salvation. He had prayed with me many many years ago due to his heart condition. I'm hoping for some assurance and a peace about a true conversion.
Thank you all for praying for my dad it has given us a lot of comfort. Please pray for Hopeton. He had a bad bicycle fall yesterday and broke his nose, broke his cheekbones, has a broken blood vessel on his forehead, cuts and scrapes on arms and legs and front teeth are loose.
Thanks so much for your prayers! Please remember me in prayer as I walk in obedience to the Lord by hosting a prayer and worship rally in my hometown of Braddock, PA on June 20th. I believe the Lord wants his children to unite in prayer, fasting and intercessions for our nation. I also believe that this is the best time to cast out our nets and "fish" for the souls of men. Please continue praying for wisdom, courage, provision and protection in Jesus name! (And most of all souls won for Christ!) Thank you! The CT scan of my ovary came back fine. I didn’t need any surgery. Praise the Lord!
The CT of the aneurysm in my brain showed that the aneurysm was completely gone. I will have yearly angiograms to check the small meningioma in my brain and for no more aneurysms.
Thank you all for praying. God is good! For Kathy Dunmyer who was rushed to the hospital with bilateral pneumonia and is in the ICU. She is one of the kindest, loving and giving person I know. Her family will cherish your prayers. Last week I added Abraham Kline to the prayer list. I just received word that he is headed to Pittsburgh. He is getting his kidney! I have been employed at Carnegie Mellon University for nearly thirty nine years. Seeing and appreciating how Pastor Marc and the team at Harvest Baptist Church have been so innovative with trying to conduct worship services, Livestreaming and such, and setting up watch parties. But I'm sure it is an overwhelming task, for a church of about 500 families, plus the academy of 200 + students.
Imagine trying to coordinate an academic year for a university of 14,000 students, including residents, and such. Therefore, I would like special prayer for Provost Jim Garrett and his staff as they plow through all of the logistics and regulations to try and come up with some semblance of normalcy for the 2020 - 2021 academic year. Prayer for Abraham Kline, who is involved in ministry with the Aultmann Baptist Church (near Saltsburg) and had done some evangelistic outreach work with me when I was at the Ambrose Baptist Church. Abraham is currently on dialysis, and has just received notification that a kidney match has been found for him. However, two others who are also in need of a kidney are a match, so Abraham is "competing" with them. Mary Venter
