My niece, Arlene's long term boyfriend, Mike, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer a month ago. He doesn't have medical insurance and unfortunately waited too long (symptoms began end of Oct. 2024) and ended up in the emergency room the beginning of January. He's been trying to get qualified for Medicaid so he can get chemotherapy. He's lost over 40 lbs. and even though he is on the highest dose of pain meds, he is still in a lot of pain causing him not to eat. The hospital is hesitant to do the chemo because he is so weak. He has been given possibly 4 months to live. Please pray for his salvation (he does not know the Lord) as this is of the utmost importance and also for the healing hand of God to be upon Mike if it is His will. Arlene is also beginning to lose hope due to all the medical bureaucracy to do the chemotherapy. Please pray for her faith to be strengthened as she visits him everyday he is in the hospital and when he's been home. Thank you for praying.
