Dear Church Family,

Thank you for your continued prayers for Dave and me. We are so thankful for a praying church and a faithful God who answers prayers. As an update, Dave had a recent visit with the vascular surgeon at the VA and both legs are healing really well. He has an appointment on June 30 at the VA Amputee clinic to begin the process of preparing for a prosthetic.

This being Father's day, I want to thank our heavenly Father for loving and carrying us through one of the most difficult trials of our marriage. My love, respect and admiration for Dave has grown more than I could even imagine as he has lived each day with faith in God while struggling for the past two years with countless doctor's appointments, indescribable pain, and frustration with a sometimes broken health system. I have seen first hand his unwavering faith that he knows he is in God's hands and God has been faithful every step of the way. Please keep him in prayer as this next process will be a challenge.
